- Latest in the line of EMDs "70" series locomotives that were intended to cut railroad costs by providing a locomotive that is more efficient and more powerful, lessening fuel costs and reducung the total number of running units. This special Heritage paint scheme was used on only six of UP's SD70ACes. Each one bears a road number that matches the year that it was incorparated in the UP fleet.
